    • 1 block of ready made puff pastry
    • 500g Home Butchers traditional vegetable roll
    • 1 egg

How to Make Irish Vegetable Roll Party Bites

Preheat the oven to 200°C/gas mark 6.

On a well floured surface, roll out your puff pastry till it is large rectangle around a centimetre thick, then cut it in half lengthways.

Take half the Vegetable roll and work it into one long sausage, the same length as the pastry. Line the meat up along the pastry lengthways, brush all around the meat with egg before folding the pastry over so the Vegetable roll is completely encased.Make sure the edge is completely sealed by pressing it all around with the tines of a fork

Repeat the above step with the other half of pastry and Vegetable roll.

Brush both of the finished rolls with the rest of the beaten egg, then cut then into bite sized pieces

Bake for 15 - 20 minutes, then serve.
